This was an exciting project we worked on with Outsyders to build a VR180 pilot experience for the launch of the Samsung Odyssey VR headset in conjunction with Google.
On this project we helped develop a streamlined render pipeline to take complex render requirements inside of Unreal Engine and with one click, perform stereo 180 renders, stitch the videos and publish them to corresponding platforms for review and editorial.
Mocap was also pipelined to be compatible with timecode to collectively sync all of the processed audio, facial performances and body performances all directly inside of Unreal Engine allowing for seamless editorial and shot selection.
Additional Control Rigs were also built for the MetaHumans and non-humanoid rigs such as the vehicles and machinery.
